According to a report by Bengaluru-based cyber-security startup FireCompass, the online fintech startups scored eight out of 100 as per security benchmark. The report said that Indian organisations across different sectors on an average scored around 50 out of 100 in the survey, in which large banks emerged as the best performer with a compliance percentage of 61.

With need in India market and there is lack of availability of companies to take care of these issues, As Mr. Krishnashree Achuthan, CEO of Amrita University’s Technology Business Incubator (TBI) correctly mention that there are more than 4,000 startups in the country today, but less than 100 operate in the field of cyber security and build related products. With wars being fought every minute across the world in cyberspace, cyber security has become a strategic national priority. India needs to tackle this challenge from both an economic and military perspective.

Otherwise know as demonetization it was push for the Digital economy for India. Inevitable for Indian gov. to go digital and change and adjust to new system, new technology, current way and corruption has challenged the very base of National Security for Indian companies. However, these recent changes are creating vulnerabilities by moving processes online, resulting in an increased incidence of cyber-attacks among enterprises in India. Well we can understand this my analysis of 300% rise in cybercrime from 2011 to 2015.

Though the above threat is not went unnoticed and The ‘Digital Security Council of India’ (DSCI) as took initiative to start 80 companies to fight security concern for India startups. Mr. Rama Vedashree mention that only hacking is not the only concern and Indian firms need Security in term of Enterprises.
